November 25th is the day most retail corporations start to turn a profit for the year.

Not Anymore.

When the buck stops they will start to listen.Spread the word. The media will not help us get the word out.

We will be told that boycotts are unamerican and hurting main street and not wall street. These lies will show how scared they really are.

The establishment is not afraid of violence, they are afraid of solidarity.

So Black Friday stay home and throw a leftover party and spend time with the people or activities that really make you happy.

Our influence over the course of our governments has been erased.

OWS has brought visibility to this fact.

OWS has made us aware that it is time to take our power back.

In order  to be effective we must stand united. Nationally and Globally.

Therefore I am calling for November 25th to be our RED FRIDAY.

We will speak with our hard earned wages by spending NOTHING.

For one day we will turn our backs on materialism and discern on what really brings us joy and happiness.

This could be the start of something new.

One week a month we could ramp down our spending culminating in a spend free day where we take the time to be with friends, family and one another and HAVE FUN.

Necessary and discretionary spending for that week could be guided to small and local businesses.

I wanted to tell your readers about “How to be popular” by Abby. AVOID IT at all costs. It should be titled “How to Get Your Ass Kicked”. I tested out abby’s wearing a smile and got back “What the fuck are you looking at you crooked tooth piece of shit” and “Quit starting at me you psycho perv”. She also has a concept called “Here you are!” where you act perpetually happy to see people. When I tried it in the mens room I ended up in traction, in chemistry class suffered first degree burns and in the locker room….well I had to change schools. So my advice is to skip “How to be Popular” and try to be a pretty girl or at least a girl that puts out or if you are a guy hope for good genes or be rich or pretend you are some foreign exchange student.- Crooked Tooth in Kansas

I got myself into a bit of a pickle. My Stepsister, repeat step not blood sister, is very beautiful and sensuous.  The other day I was leering at her and she caught me and asked if I wanted her. I gulped and did not know what to say, BTW she is eighteen, repeat eighteen years old. She told me she could teach me a few things, also I should mention that she is a prostitute, but I in know way paid her for sex it was free and it was her idea. This might have made for a good penthouse letter back in the 70′s. So you seduced your step brother but it is not his fault? Could he have slapped a condom on that thing or pulled it out? Haven’t you watched 16 and pregnant or whatever? If you think this girl is dumb read the next letter.

DEAR ABBY: I am dating a woman who is a prostitute and have developed feelings for her. The problem is her “job” gets in the way. I thought I could be OK with this, but I am not. DEAR CONFLICTED: Your letter reminds me of the ones I have printed about brides who don’t want anyone associated with their wedding to be overweight, tattooed or have an unusual hairdo. They’re so preoccupied with how things will look that they forget there are people, not mannequins or puppets, involved. You should not have to shave your beard in order to be an usher. Offer your sister-in-law a choice: Either you can remain as you are, or she can find someone else to steer her guests to their seats. Do not be confrontational about it. The choice will be hers.

I am getting married soon and have asked my brother to shave his beard for the wedding. Normally I am not anti beard it is just that a beard makes him look uh freaky. My brother claims to have a “baby face”. In reality he looks like Chaz Bono crossed with a munchkin. I think he must have an extra chromosome in there somewhere. A beard just makes it look worse, try to imagine a beard on the lady from Poltergeist and you will get the idea. I want to force him to shave so my guests are not frightened without hurting my brother’s fragile ego. Please help!

DEAR ABBY: There’s a venomous old woman who roams through our neighborhood looking for victims to embarrass, humiliate or annoy. She told a neighbor’s 11-year-old granddaughter she looked like a slut because she was wearing shorts currently in fashion for the young. She habitually cuts in front of people in line at the supermarket, puts 25 items on the 15-item service line, etc.

A new neighbor thought she should be treated with a little kindness. She had her opportunity recently when we were out to breakfast at a restaurant. The harridan sat alone (her husband refuses to be seen in public with her), and my friend commented to her on the beautiful day. Her response? “Don’t waste my time with meaningless inanities!” She then proceeded to abuse the server by repeatedly sending her plate back, each time becoming more unpleasant. The girl ended up in tears.

At that point, my friend walked over and said quietly, “I hope you don’t think your advanced age justifies your meanness.” The witch accused my friend of “slandering” her and left vowing never to return. This elicited a round of applause from the customers and staff.

Why do some people go through life behaving so outrageously? How can she derive satisfaction from being so hateful? — PUZZLED IN SAN DIEGO

DEAR PUZZLED: Ruling out the idea that the person you have described may be mentally disturbed, it’s possible she may be so unhappy in her personal life that she’s trying to make herself feel better by abusing others. She’s a sad case. I’d like to think that when the other diners applauded, it was directed in support of your friend rather than at the disagreeable woman as she left the restaurant.

Do yourself a favor and look Harridan up in the dictionary.

But now I am nowhere near what I used to be when those people knew me. My life has not been very productive or happy since I moved from the East Coast to California.

I am married to a wonderful man. We have no children, and I have had only sporadic employment over the past few years due to treatment for depression and alcoholism. I’m trying to get better, but it’s hard. Most of those who have written tell me about their children, grandchildren and the career progress they have made in their lives. I can’t tell them any of that about myself. Please don’t tell me to get counseling. I am. And don’t tell me to go to AA meetings. I do. And don’t tell me to take medication, because I’m doing that, too. Just tell me what do I write to all those old friends who seem to have achieved many of the conventional things in life that I haven’t. I don’t want to say nothing, and I don’t want to lie, but I also don’t want to tell them the depressing truth, either. — UNSURE OUT WEST

DEAR UNSURE: Crafting upbeat prose can be difficult when someone is as depressed as you appear to be. But you are getting the help you need and working to pull yourself out of it, and for that I applaud you.

Before composing your Facebook entry, take stock of the positive things you have going for you and make a list. You are married to a wonderful man, you haven’t had to work over the past few years, but it hasn’t caused serious economic hardship — although you wouldn’t mind re-entering the workforce at some point. If you volunteer in the community, have read an amusing or uplifting poem, mention that, too. In other words, “spin.” That’s what everyone else on social media does, so don’t feel guilty about it.

We recently ran into an old classmate of ours on Facebook. We had missed her terribly and it was great to see her online. Back in school she was one wild woman, multiple partners, drugs, booze, like a female Keith Moon or Richards. She was always keeping us entertained with her antics and arrests and breakdowns. The problem is everytime we get a hold of her on facebook she doesn’t respond or is very curt. We want our “Lunatic Linda” back. Is it ok to ask if she is still a drunk slut?- Class of ’90

DEAR ABBY: My best friend, “Brianna,” often invites me to big parties at her older friends’ homes. At first I was thrilled because I’m only 15. At the parties I saw some people doing bad things — but I didn’t, at first. Soon, Brianna pressured me into doing some things that I didn’t feel comfortable doing. My parents are very strict about these things, and I knew it was wrong. I have tried to get out of going to the parties, but Brianna says bad things to me. I have even had to lie to my parents about where I’m going. Every girl my age wants to go to these parties, but I don’t. Am I weird for not wanting to get involved in inappropriate things? DEAR FEELING PRESSURED: You’re not weird, and “every” girl your age does not want to attend the parties you have mentioned. You appear to be a lot more intelligent than your “friend” Brianna, who sounds more like a bully than a friend. Because Brianna does things that could land her in serious trouble doesn’t mean that you should do them. you should be ashamed of yourself. You have either made up a fake teen with a fake  problem or exploited a prude with a real dilemma. No young girl wants or needs your values pour on them, just like any boy is not looking to Martin Van Buren for sex advice. As a matter of fact no teen or tween girls read your column or the newspaper at all. The only people ordering your “booklets” are old over-involved nosy know it all grandmothers.

Well now that I think about it stealing money from crabby old ladies is ok, I apologize for my rant.

DEAR ABBY: My 12-year-old niece “Tammy” is very shy. When I recently visited my brother’s home, she hid in her parents’ bedroom behind a closed door. She wouldn’t come out to say hi or even speak to me through the door. Today I was on the phone with my sister-in-law and I asked if I could say hello to Tammy. I was told Tammy had left the room because she didn’t want to talk. My sister-in-law then remarked that she has the shiest kids on Earth. I think Tammy’s parents should MAKE her speak to me (or anyone else) in person or on the phone. Am I wrong? — OUTGOING AUNT IN TEXAS

DEAR OUTGOING AUNT: Tammy’s behavior is rude, and her mother is covering for her. If Tammy has such overwhelming social anxiety that she cannot exchange even the briefest social amenities, she needs the help of a therapist to help her overcome it.

Dearest Scooter,

I have an aunt “Fanny” who will not leave me alone. She has no kids of her own and smells like coffee and cigarettes mixed with gin. She calls the house and wants to talk to me on the phone, what the hell am I going to talk to her about? She tries to talk to about “Selma Gomes” and “Jessica Beaver”. I lock myself in my room when she comes over but she does not get the hint and stays outside my door. What can I say to her to get her to leave me alone?
